“Keep walking and your heart will catch up.” That’s the advice I gave to someone this week and take it for myself now. Except today that means not walking, but taking the bus again. I’m running out of time and won’t be able to walk the complete camino in time to catch my flight home, so I’m skipping some portions by taking the bus to Burgos, then to Astorga.

I spend the day in tourist activities in Burgos and get a special treat at day’s end. There’s chamber music coming from down the street and I find it’s a free concert in a museum courtyard. A soprano is singing an aria, accompanied by a string quartet. Next, the soprano is replaced by a flautist. I play flute! This is very special and I’m grateful for such a nice and unexpected surprise.
