In advance of hiking the Camino de Santiago, I spent three days in Paris, France before taking the train to St. Jean Pied de Port at the foot of the Pyrenees to begin. David and I had visited Spain and Paris in 1997 and really enjoyed both.

This time I wandered the streets of Paris missing David, and questioning my sanity for heading out on the Camino de Santiago.  Somehow I just knew that I had to hike the Camino and I had to do it this year (2019).  Looking back, I’m glad I did.
