Take a Break
Some days I have nothing to say. Nothing new anyway. Some days I need to simply stop and reflect on what I’ve already said, heard in my spirit, or read somewhere. Some days I already have so many unprocessed and incomplete thoughts swirling around inside, that if I add one more, they’ll all collapse into a tangled heap. I’ll lose them all.
I think today I’ll take a break from anything new. Instead, I’ll ruminate on half-thought ideas that have been temporarily shelved, waiting for my attention. Far better to finish them out than to start something new. Today I’ll retrieve a treasure that has patiently waited. Today I’ll move out of the fast lane, the busy heavily-trafficked fast lane, and appreciate a slow stroll, with gratitude and with wonder. That’s my plan for today.
I bet you’ve got some dreams, ideas and plans that you also have left undone. Maybe it’s a good day for you to stop and reflect. May it be a peaceful and a prosperous day for you.
