The Viking War of 2022, a Move into Health
One night this past week I found myself in the middle of a Viking War. It was raging inside my body. I lay in bed feeling the blows and slicing spears as Viking warriors fought to the death. My good healthy cells were chasing out the bad, unwelcome cells – those unkept, scraggly bearded Vikings with rage in their eyes and blood on their teeth as they raise sword to kill whatever lies in their way. My Viking cells met them with equal fervor. They rose to my defense. They fought for King (me) and Country (my body) and vanquished the foes. Chased them out of the empire. The next day I moved about slowly, feeling bruised and beaten, yet thankful for those loyal, valiant cells.
Where is that coming from? you ask. First, let me share that I started a weight loss program which includes a deep detox component. And boy did I feel it! Secondly, Viking war is not so strange since I’ve been watching “The Last Kingdom,” a Viking series on Netflix. And thirdly, I’ve been spending time meditating and doing affirmations with my cells and appreciating how they protect and heal the body. They love to heal and support us. And maybe it’s a little to do with an active imagination, too.
So this is my newest venture. I’m in cahoots with my cells, committed to giving them the nutrition and support they need to do what they do. From chasing out diseased cells to growing and healing vibrant and healthy cells. I so appreciate the magnificence of this beautiful body, and I look forward to nourishing it better this year.
I hope you also have some new ventures to bring life and health to you and your family.
