Come in from the Back Field
Come in from the back field, my beloved. Step to the front. I never called you to hide away behind others, lost in a distant funk of confusion and fear. Your place is front and center. Front and center, in the spotlight, my child. Step forward.
From here you will not only be seen and admired, but you will see what has been hidden from your view. In the back field you have been surrounded by so many whose height towers over you. You have been left to hear only second-hand what others see. You jump and twist and try to look above the heads of the crowds, but are left in disappointment. Your heart is fierce. You desire to see and know for yourself; yet you have been blocked in the background, in the back field, with blocked vision.
The remedy is easy, my child. Step up. Push your way through. Elbow your way when necessary. Show that you mean business and that you will not stop, the crowd will part. It will separate and give you safe passage. You are worthy. You are able.
So come, my beloved! Come to the front and see with your own eyes what you have longed to know. Yes, it is beautiful. It is glorious. It is all you had hoped for, and it is yours. Yours, my beloved.
I never set you in the back field. Your place is right up front in full sunlight. That is where you will blossom, where your leaves will unfold. Your petals will unfurl from their darkness and give way to the sun’s warmth, drawing them into a display of vibrant color. This is where you thrive. This is where you belong.
