The Camino Day 31 – Portos
Everyone in the bunkhouse was up and out before 6:00 a.m. It’s a funny feeling to be the only one left, but I am.
Once on the trail, I enjoy the silence and the coolness of the morning. The sun has just risen, sending her rays over the hill enough to light my path. I walk in the mist, in the cool air. It soon turns into rain.
I had to read one sentence twice. You did say “her” re sun; guess I still think of
“Brother Sun, Sister Moon” 🙂
Oh that’s right! I love how that St. Francis of Assisi addressed them as Brother Sun and Sister Moon! I am going to have to update my thinking on that. Thank you, Marti.
